    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining engineering, education, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in operating and maintaining underground mining equipment.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training materials in both classroom and field settings, with a focus on adult learning principles and current training best practices. They will also be required to conduct over inspections to identify and rectify bad operating habits, and provide weekly reports to the Training Coordinator.

    In addition to technical skills, the candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and deliver training materials in a classroom and field setting
    • Conduct over inspections to identify and rectify bad operating habits
    • Provide weekly reports to the Training Coordinator
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues
    • Identify key role players and their requirements, and provide market intelligence as needed

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mining Engineering, Education, or a related field
    • 5+ years of experience in the operation and maintenance of underground mining equipment
    • Experience developing and delivering training materials
    • Knowledge of adult learning principles and current training best practices
    • Train the trainer qualification
    • Driver's License
    • Advanced Computer skills
    • Passing Mine Medical Inductions
    • Government Certificate of Competency in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
