Job Description

To deliver cost-effective operational strategy and service excellence, you will lead and direct store management teams to achieve sales, profit, and compliance targets, resulting in a competitive advantage for the brand.

Implement area business opportunities to gain market differentiation, leading to sales and profit growth through continuous competitor analysis.
Deliver and manage financial targets for the area.
Ensure internal processes, procedures, and compliance are delivered and managed for the area.
Identify, escalate, and deliver continuous business process improvements within the area to enhance operational execution and manage risk.
Monitor area performance, identify trends, report on business performance, and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
Analyse relevant reports, provide feedback, and take corrective action within specified timeframes.
Be the customer's first choice health and beauty retailer by living and driving company values.
Implement, drive, and monitor customer service initiatives to achieve great customer experiences and club card participation targets.
Deliver store expansion growth targets for the area, providing convenience to customers.
Implement the people strategy to ensure ongoing pharmacy and professional development, build capacity, and capability to meet current and future business developments aligned with the Brands Talent and Transformation agenda.
Support and deliver the regions retention strategy to sustain staffing needs, particularly for scarce and critical skills, ensuring consistent business performance.
Adhere to HR policies and procedures aligned to corporate governance.

Key Requirements:

B.Com Degree or Diploma/B Pharm (retail/finance management, pharmacy, or related) desirable.
Minimum 5 years' experience in an area management role within a retail store operations environment, managing a diverse team.
Financial management experience (budgets, profit and loss statements, financial ratios).
Pharmacy experience required.
