    Business Analyst Contract - Potential to convert to perm based on performance

    On-site, based in Sandton

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in banking and payments to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial services, payment processing, and regulatory compliance, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and ensuring the successful implementation of payment solutions that align with business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements for banking and payment solutions.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and compliance teams to design and implement payment solutions.
    • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for process improvement and system enhancements.
    • Define and document business processes, workflows, and use cases related to banking and payments.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and security requirements in payment processing.
    • Develop test plans and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions.
    • Provide ongoing support and analysis for implemented banking and payment systems.
    • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging payment technologies, and regulatory changes to recommend best practices.

    Key Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field Advantageous.
    • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or payments industry.
    • Strong understanding of payment processing.
    • Experience with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the banking sector.
    • Proficiency in business analysis tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and SQL.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in an agile environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
