Description
These duties and responsibility comprise of the following:
- Water: The supply, monitoring, testing and maintenance on all pumps, piping, fittings, bore holes.
- Pools: Maintaining all pools including pool pumps and chemicals
- Sewerage: Monitoring, recording, dosing, maintenance on all equipment including pumps
- Roads and trails: Building, upkeep, grading and drainage
- Plant and Equipment: Maintain, service and repair
- Vehicles: Maintain, service and repair
- Gardens: Plant, irrigate, cut and maintain
- Estate fields: Bush cut, weed eat and maintain
- Maintenance: Maintain all aspects of maintenance comprising of, carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Airconditioning, Refrigeration, Tools, Machinery, Painting, water proofing, minor building, gas
- Health and Safety: Ensuring hotels are compliant including record keeping
- Administration: Monthly account recons, quotes, purchasing, reports, stock taking, registers, budgeting, planning
Requirements:
- Matric & a formal technical qualification
- At least 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Manager at a similar property
- Have management skills to manage a team
- Be a highly organised individual
- Be highly proactive and positive
- Be accountable and responsible
