    Description

    Projects Engineer Role

    We are seeking a skilled Projects Engineer to liaise with customers, coordinate and implement administration tasks, and work closely with various departments within our company.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Mechanical Engineering qualification or related field is essential.
    • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the Fluid Mechanics Pumps Industry.
    • Prior experience working with pump selections (Air Diaphragm, Centrifugal, and Peristaltic) in the industrial space handling viscous and Exotic Liquids.
    • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft packages.
    • Ability to communicate fluently in English; additional languages are advantageous.
    • Excellent planning, organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    Main Responsibilities

    1. Develop and execute an aggressive sales plan to achieve sales, profits, and growth targets.
    2. Conduct sales visits at customer sites, providing advice and support on company products to match customer needs with engineered solutions.
    3. Promote service, spare parts, and contract functions.
    4. Analyse tender information and follow up on leads for future projects.
    5. Prepare quotations, sales orders, reports, and paperwork to meet company and customer requirements.
    6. Collaborate with the Sales Team, attend meetings, and complete written and verbal reports as required by Senior staff.
    7. Evaluate and ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety and Quality Assurance policies.
    8. Research new technologies and products within the scope of supply.
    9. Undertake market research on new industries and products.

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical engineering background, excellent communication skills, and experience working in the Fluid Mechanics Pumps Industry.
