E-commerce Customer Service Agent - Sandton, South Africa - JD Group
Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, processing returns, and resolving payment issues
- Provide product information, recommendations, and assistance with online shopping experience
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
- Stay uptodate on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 12 years of experience in customer service or related field
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and online shopping processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Experience working in an ecommerce customer service role
- Knowledge of customer service best practices and trends in the ecommerce industry
