Architectural Fabric Patterner

Tenthouse Structures is based in Cape Town and is one of the world leading companies in the design and installation of luxury architectural fabric structures worldwide.

Our business is growing and we are looking for an Architectural Fabric Patterner to join our dynamic team.

The position ultimately reports to the company Design Manager.

The role will predominantly comprise fabric patterning and pattern processing of the various fabric elements of company projects for issue to our fabricators for production.

It is mainly 2D AutoCAD based work with some model manipulation in 3D.

The role will likely also include other general CAD work, some examples of which would be producing drawings for client/architect approval.

Responsibilities:

• To provide accurate fabric patterning and pattern processing
• To provide drawings for Clients and/or architect approval

Requirements:

• Experience of 5 years in draughting and desirable experience in detailing for fabrication
• Highly proficient in AutoCAD software or other similar CAD package
• Accuracy and attention to details
• Communication skills
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Salary:
Up to R25,000.00 per month
