    **Job Title:** Sales & Rental Representative

    The purpose of this position is to drive sales and rental activities in the Western Cape and surrounding areas for Bobcat and SANY earthmoving and road machinery.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Present and rent Bobcat products and services to current and potential clients, developing a deep understanding of their needs and preferences.
    • Create action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and project the number of contacts to be made, ensuring effective time management and productivity.
    • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity, fostering strong relationships with customers and prospects.
    • IDentify rental prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned, leveraging technical knowledge to address customer queries.
    • Develop and maintain rental materials and current product knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with current clients and potential client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and support.
    • Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services, ensuring seamless transactional processes.
    • Compile status reports, including activity, closings, follow-ups, and adherence to goals, facilitating informed decision-making.
    • Communicate new products and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
    • Collaborate with company staff to accomplish work required to close deals, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
    • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events, driving brand awareness and lead generation.
    • Ensure timely collection of payment and monitor rental fleet utilization, maintaining optimal equipment availability and maximizing revenue.

    **Requirements:**

    • Minimum of a matric certificate.
    • Heavy machinery product or technical knowledge.
    • Minimum of 5 years' sales/rental experience.
    • Basic financial knowledge.
    • Excellent customer and communication skills, including cold calling and general customer liaison.
    • High energy levels and an "off-the-charts" work ethic.
    • A dynamic self-starter, with impeccable time management – to be fully productive every day.
