    Company Overview: Oor client, one of the leading autobody shops in East London, where they are committed to delivering top-notch automotive services and products. They take pride in their work and strive for excellence in everything they do.

    Position Overview: They are currently seeking an experienced Storeman to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive stock control, with at least 4 years of relevant experience. The Storeman will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring efficient stock levels, and supporting the smooth operation of our autobody shop.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the receiving, storage, and issuance of automotive parts and materials.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records using our designated system.
    • Monitor stock levels and place orders for replenishment as needed.
    • Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with inventory procedures.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
    • Work closely with the workshop team to fulfill orders and support production schedules.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the storeroom and storage areas.
    • Assist in the implementation of inventory management best practices to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
    • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive stock control.
    • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and materials.
    • Proficiency in inventory management software/systems.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
