We are seeking a Head of Human Resources (NPO) for a permanent vacancy based in Durban, KZN.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
***-
Degree in HR / Organizational Development or related with below experience ideally in a NPO
***:
-
10+ years exp in organizational development, leadership development or HR management
***:
-
Innovative approach to HR and a strong understanding of organizational development
***:
-
Leadership development programs, talent management, succession planning and workforce planning. Valid drivers and willing to travel
***:
-
Solid knowledge of HR policies, procedures and labour laws
***:
-
Build effective relations and collaborate with stakeholders
***:
-
Proficiency in HR software and systems
***:
-
Strong coaching, mentorship and leadership development knowledge and experience with a strong operational background is preferred. This role can be predominantly remote based.

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:***-
Identify and develop employees for key roles and succession planning
***:

Design/execute onboarding programs and develop framework for performance conversations
***:
-
Develop/maintain a comprehensive people strategy and effective recruitment strategy
***:
-
Facilitate a smooth offboarding process
***:
-
Foster a culture of leadership
***:
-
Identify / implement initiatives to drive empool9yee engagement, satisfaction and retention
***:
-
Identify and nurture current and future leaders
***:
-
Implement strategic workforce planning to align talent development
***:
-
Monitor employee satisfaction
***:
-
Support team leaders in setting clear performance expectations
