R&D Intern (Johannesburg)


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Technical & Regulatory Manager in operational tasks required to support the business and deliver business goals.
  • Assist the Technical & Regulatory Manager with PLM Cloud transitioning.
  • To compile registration dossiers for submission to relevant regulatory authorities as approved by the Regulatory Manager.
  • To ensure that correct formulations are handed over to Supply Chain for loading onto SAP.
  • To assist in the approval of new raw material suppliers by ensuring that all technical documentation is available for assessment by Technical & Regulatory Manager and Regional Raw Material Manger.
  • To ensure all product changes are captured and tracked properly on the Product Change Request tool.
  • To ensure all new and existing product labels are compliant to the relevant regulations and standards.
  • To ensure that all active products in the item master have updated GHS compliant Safety Data Sheets.
  • Support Marketing Communications by ensuring all Product Information Sheets have all the required technical data and updates.

Skills and Competencies:

  • A motivated self-starter and hard worker willing to learn and grow in the role.
  • A critical, analytical and methodical person who pays attention to detail.
  • Bias for action and willingness to take on new challenges

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 and minimum BSc. (Chemistry or Biochemistry or related)
  • Proficient in English
