JOB PURPOSE:***
Position Focus:
  • Brand Positioning
  • School Targeting
  • School Presentations
  • Career fairs
  • Database collection and management
  • Calls and the conversion of booked Appointments to Arrivals
  • Reception Protocols
  • Interviews and the conversion to Applications and Registrations

To work with Vice Principal Student Advisor (VPSA) to ensure:

  • You develop relationships with stakeholders in the target school assigned to you
  • You conduct high energy school presentations and your presence at school career fairs is professional and engaging at schools assigned to you
  • You have detailed knowledge of all the institution's programmes, their module composition, and pricing structures and can market and sell them to students and their parents
  • You have detailed knowledge of all bursaries offered and you know how to sell the benefits of our bursary offering
  • You meet with your VPSA every week to discuss challenges as well as report on how your sales activities have occurred against set targets, and agree and implement solutions to any challenges post discussion
  • Work at Sports and Social activities to ensure that students enjoy and participate in sports synonymous with our sales promise
  • You use the CRM Information system to manage your CRM and sales processes
  • Meet your key targets as set by your VPSA

REPORTING LINES You will report directly to the Vice Principal Student Advisor and indirectly to the Campus Principal.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all sales activity takes place in line with tasks that you have been set and in line with your campus marketing plan
  • Achieve your sales targets
  • Ensure that you are trained and coached with product knowledge and sales techniques

JOB HOLDER REQUIREMENTS

  • Sales experience in private education or within a servicerelated industry
  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • Able to conduct one and one student interviews and family interviews
  • Possess excellent direct selling skills
  • Ability to constantly selfchallenge and challenge others in a constructive way
  • Demonstrate integrity, tenacity, resilience, and adaptability in complex situations and a fluid environment; can handle pressure and commit to and respect deadlines
  • Utilise excellent communication skills and demonstrates intercultural adaptability and sensitivity
  • Demonstrate proactive thinking skills and ability to make decisions
  • Use your time effectively and efficiently, set priorities and demonstrate time management skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite
  • Degree/Diploma in a relevant field
