Experience and Skills:


  • Holding a registration (Pr. Sci. Nat or Pr. Eng.) or equivalent and appropriate GHG quantification accreditation.
  • Have 48 years experience in Climate Change Management and development of emissions inventories.
  • Be aware of the requirements of the Task Force on Climaterelated Financial Disclosures.
  • Be able to critically evaluate and analyse information or data.
  • Have excellent communication, project management, organisational and report writing skills, specifically writing of scientific reports and integrating scientific information therein.
  • Other skills advantageous to the position comprise GIS, statistics or mathematics, data analysis, modelling or programming.

General Requirements:


  • Develop emission inventories based on project data using performance guarantees or emission factors.
  • Undertake climate change impact assessment as part of the climate change team including the preparation of reports.
  • Assist clients in identifying and realising decarbonisation objectives.
  • Coordinate inputs to projects and work within tight deadlines and on multiple projects.
  • Liaising with clients and project teams.
  • Assist or lead the preparation of proposals and tender bids.
  • Have strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally
  • A valid drivers license and own transport would be an advantage.
  • Be a selfdriven individual with a positive and proactive approach.

Salary:
