- Prepare drawings for landlord signature and building plan submission.
- Work closely with the Site Acquisition Manager to ensure drawings are compiled within 48hours of lease signing.
- Complete a minimum of 5 drawings a week to submit for building plan approval.
- Compile site power plans from ISS documents.
- Base station drawings are to be completed timeously to send out to the MNO's for approval.
- Submit internal progress reporting to management on a regular basis
- File, upload all documentation correctly onto internal server
- Complete any other tasks that management requires from time to time
- Formal Degree/ Diploma, preferably in Draughting.
- Extensive knowledge of telecommunication mast and base station solutions & drawings.
- Experience with TowerCo's beneficial.
- Site Acquisition experience beneficial.
- Project Management skills as this opportunity will be project and team based.
- Working under pressure and sometimes helping other members of the Tower Portfolio.
- Relative knowledge of Acquisition and Permitting procedures.
- Great attention to details
- Relations with local authorities is beneficial.
- 5-10 years' experience within the telecoms industry (cell phone towers).
- Knowledge of various council drawing requirements is beneficial.
- Experience in Rivit and AutoCad preferred.
- AutoCad qualification required.

Description
The Site Design Engineer will work within the site acquisition manager to ensure that lease drawings are compiled according to the requirements for building plan submissions at various municipalities. After building plans are approved, construction drawings are to be prepared correctly ready for the construction manager. Other function s include general administrative work for filing and record keeping.
