+- R / Incentives Based on Hours Sold / MIBCO Benefits (No Medical Aid Contribution)_

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Senior Certificate

Red Seal

Motor Mechanic
Min of 5 years' experience in either VW or Audi dealership.
Must provide training schedule from VW or Audi SA.

EXPERIENCE:

The individual we are looking to employ MUST meet the minimum requirements and under no circumstances will exceptions be made.
We are seeking qualified and experienced motor mechanic that is a team player / Not a clock watcher / a motor mechanic that is able to understand and complete instructions given by the Service Manager / a motor mechanic that is able to work unsupervised and is able to take initiative when needed / takes responsibility for his own actions.

THE DUTIES OF THE MOTOR MECHANIC IS AS FOLLOWS:

Test driving vehicles to asses and diagnose accurately.
Must have the experience and knowledge to use the VAS diagnostic system correctly.
Liaise with the Service Advisor / Workshop Foreman and Service Manager regularly on WIP.
Minor and Major Services
Engine Remove and replace
Engine Strip & Assemble
Gearbox Remove & Replace
Braking Systems
Steering
Suspension
Differentials
ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSTICS
MECHANICAL DIAGNOSTICS
