    Alarm Technician Job Description

    We are seeking a meticulous and resourceful alarm technician to assist our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of alarm systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure all work meets relevant safety codes and regulations.
    • Complete assigned tasks and projects on time.
    • Conduct inspections, diagnose issues, and implement repairs.
    • Fully install new alarm systems and ensure optimal performance.
    • Occasionally travel to customer locations for service and maintenance.
    • Analyze plans and blueprints to understand system requirements.
    • Educate customers on proper system care and maintenance.
    • Document service and status reports in a clear and concise manner.

    Requirements:

    • Associate or technical degree from an accredited institution.
    • Certification from the Electronic Security Association or National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies.
    • Demonstrated track record of exceptional customer service.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
    • Proven experience working with various alarm systems.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

    Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
