We are the Devon Alliance for International Recruitment and we are part of NHS.

We are recruiting overseas Registered Nurses with experience in and specialist areas to live and work in beautiful Devon, in the south west of England, UK.


If you are a
Registered Nurse with at least 6 months post-qualification experience in areas such as
:trauma
& orthopaedics
, cardiac
/ neuro surgery
, endoscopy, theatres
(particularly orthopaedics)
emergency department (ED) or
critical care
(ICU)*.

We have fantastic opportunities for you We will support your fast relocation to the UK and you could be living and working in Devon in the UK in the next few months.

We have Registered Nurse opportunities across various specialisms working for our 4 Devon hospital Trusts
:Plymouth, Exeter, Torbay and
North Devon.

So, whether you enjoy city living, stunning coastlines and walks on beautiful beaches or a peaceful countryside setting, Devon offers it all.

We are within easy reach of international airports and have direct transport links to London.

Our city locations are Plymouth and Exeter.

Even though they offer city living, they are not too big or overwhelming:
Plymouth's population is 260,000 and Exeter's is 137,000.

All of our hospital locations are within one to one and a half hours travel from each other by public transport and within 2-3 hours travel from London by train.


University Hospitals Plymouth (UHP):

Plymouth is a port city, called England's 'Ocean City'. Plymouth is known for its maritime, seafaring heritage and historic Barbican district with narrow, cobbled streets. In the harbour there are several marinas and a fish market, the 'Plymouth Fisheries'.

The Mayflower Steps are famous as being the place where the Pilgrim Fathers, who set up their settlement in the 'New World' in 1620 started the United States of America as we know it today.


UHP is the largest specialist teaching hospital in the south west peninsula and the region's major trauma centre.

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (RDUH), Exeter and North Devon Hospitals:

The city of
Exeter is situated on the River Exe and is a small, historic city which is full of character and has a great cultural scene.

Exeter is the capital city of Devon and provides the county with a central base for education, medicine, religion, commerce and culture.

It has an array of historic architecture, including Roman ruins, the historical Guildhall and most notably the Cathedral, St Peter's Cathedral which dates back to the 12thcentury and sits at the heart of the city, dominating the skyline.


North Devon:


  • The main acute hospital is situated in the town of
    Barnstaple. North Devon is a rural, coastal area, known for its dramatic cliffs, wild seas and incredible, vast sandy beaches at locations such as Woolacombe, Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay. North Devon's coastline is awardwinning and has been designated an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The beaches are perfect for swimming and is the leading area for surfing in the UK. North Devon also has the rugged 'Exmoor' moors, perfect for those who love walking and exploring the countryside.

The Royal Devon University Heathcare NHS Foundation Trust East (Exeter) and North (Barnstaple) hospitals have recently merged so the healthcare provision stretches across Northern, Eastern and Mid Devon, with a workforce of over 15,000 staff. Core services are provided for more than 615,000 people, across more than 2,000 square miles across Devon, while some specialist services cover the whole of the south western peninsula, extending as far as Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The hospitals deliver a wide range of emergency, specialist and general medical services.

Alongside the two acute hospitals, integrated health and social care services are provided across a variety of settings including community inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, and within people's own homes.


The RDUH also offers primary care services, a range of specialist community services, and the hospitals in
Exeterand
Barnstaple are both renowned for their research, innovation and links to universities.


Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust (TSD):

Torbay is known as 'The English Riviera', and contains the towns of
Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. The area is known for beaches such as Babbacombe and the cliffside Oddicombe beach.
