    Description

    Edward Snell & Co. is seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to lead our dynamic sales team in the KZN Region, driving brand performance and achieving key targets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage brand performance by channel and outlet, ensuring volume is a primary driver of all activities.
    • Identify availability and volume opportunities, achieving regional market share targets.
    • Develop and manage the Informal Market team, ensuring they live our core values and contribute to company strategic priorities.
    • Implement national promotions correctly and design innovative regional promotions, adhering to ES&Co promotional standards.
    • Manage return on investment of promotions, ensuring discounts offered fall within quality parameters.
    • Communicate credit risks and irregularities in trade to the regional General Manager.
    • Compile weekly and monthly reports, fostering effective interaction with the telesales team.

    Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

    • Maintenance of a Matric Certificate
    • Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Sales and Marketing/Business or equivalent advantageous
    • At least six years' experience in FMCG sales (liquor spirits advantageous)
    • Minimum three years' experience in Sales Management roles
    • Established track record within the sales industry

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Ability to develop, coach, and motivate teams professionally
    • Focused goal-driven individual with excellent communication skills
    • Able to build positive working relationships and be assertive
    • Good track record in sales, proficient in Microsoft Office, and self-motivated results-driven
    • Relevant experience in the informal market environment
