Job Title: EPM SPECIALIST - SANDTON - GAUTENG


To provide implementation guidance, support, and ongoing enhancements within the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management system in line with industry best practice, while serving as a trusted advisor ensuring the technology delivers value and de-risks the business.


Duties:


  • Initiation, implementation, and optimization of EPM best practices.
  • Full Oracle EPM cloud administration for the group.
  • Oversee all EPM month end, quarterly, yearend processes.
  • Train users in:
  • Financial Consolidation and Close.
  • Enterprise Planning and Budgeting.
  • Account Reconciliation.
  • Tax Reporting.
  • Narrative Reporting.
  • Enterprise Data Management, Profitability and Cost Management.
  • Manage all EPM related SLA's and service providers.
  • Configuring EPM data integration from multiple data sources.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot business rules, data load procedures, and automation scripts.
  • Monitor integrations and data loads to ensure they work as designed.
  • Documenting functional design specifications for additional enhancements.
  • Report on functional gaps to Finance Executive(s) and Business Systems Manager.
  • Instructing, advising, directing, and checking the work of EPM programmers and business specialists

Requirements:


  • Formal NQF Level 7 qualification in Financial Information systems, Accounting, Financial management, or related.
  • Formal Oracle training and certification in Financial Consolidation and Close, or Enterprise Planning and Budgeting
  • 5 years' experience in Group of Companies consolidation.
  • Experience in project management and feedback to multiple stakeholders including Senior General Managers and Financial Managers.
  • Good knowledge of Account Reconciliation, Tax Reporting, Narrative Reporting, Enterprise Data Management, Profitability and Cost Management will be advantageous.
  • Experience in preparing business requirements and functional design documentation.
  • Quality assurance review of development projects and the evaluation and documentation of team procedures.
