    Job Purpose

    We're seeking a Sales Consultant to initiate customer relationships, meet KPIs, and propose customer solutions based on leads and campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of products, market trends, and brand growth strategies.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Cultivate Customer Relationships: Establish new connections with allocated customers through telephone calls, interviews, and needs analysis.
    2. Clarify Customer Needs: Use standard sales scripts to interview customers, gather requirements, and set clear objectives for each call. Conduct detailed notes and evaluate the customer's level of interest.
    3. Promote Customer Propositions: Identify suitable products or services, explain their benefits, and encourage customers to make a purchase at standard prices and terms.
    4. Operational Compliance: Familiarise yourself with organisational policies, regulatory codes, and procedures to ensure adherence to mandatory standards.
    5. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Data: Schedule follow-up calls, enter relevant information into the CRM system, and create a call plan to enable effective customer retention and business development activities.
    6. Performance Management: Prioritise tasks, complete work to required standards, and use performance management systems to improve personal performance.
    7. Personal Capability Building: Stay updated with current changes in internal policies, external regulations, and utilise online training resources.
    8. Sales Opportunities Creation: Identify potential customers through referrals, recommendations, and existing customer networks.

    Requirements

    Education: Matric / Grade 12 / SAQA Accredited Equivalent / FAIS and Regulatory Exam 5 qualification.

    Experience: 2-3 years of telephonic sales experience, preferably in the Financial Services Industry.
