    Description

    Job Title: Experienced IT Trainer (Contract)

    Location: Sunninghill, willing to travel nationally

    The successful candidate will have the opportunity to train a well-known retail client on a new system of order fulfilment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Draft comprehensive training programs, courses, and materials.
    • Create assessments and evaluations to measure learning outcomes.
    • Prepare for training sessions by developing engaging content and activities.
    • Facilitate training sessions for technical and non-technical staff.
    • Coach managers and supervisors at all levels.
    • Develop and deliver training on new system deployments within stores through workshops and information sessions.
    • Work on development projects to enhance the company's knowledge and skills.
    • Design and develop courses that cater to adult learning needs.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of Grade 12 qualification.
    • A Bachelor's degree is an added advantage.
    • Advanced knowledge of business operations, including IT, governance, and process management.
    • No less than 7 years' experience in training and facilitation of learning in adult education, with some experience in the retail sector.
    • A SDF certificate.
    • Experience in staff development and HR.
    • A self-starter with excellent communication skills in English.
    • An active listener with great articulation skills.
    • A relationship builder with strong presentation skills.
    • The ability to read audience needs and engage them effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
    • Business acumen with professionalism.

    Salary: The salary for this position is estimated to be around R150,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location of the job.
