    Job Description

    The Test Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of new and customized software by conducting efficient and effective testing.

    This includes designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with the development and business teams to ensure seamless integration of different SAP Modules.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Represent the end-user's perspective to ensure the product meets user needs.
    2. Act as a quality champion within the team, promoting best practices in testing and development.
    3. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other team members to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
    4. Document and report bugs effectively, ensuring developers understand the issue and its impact.

    Responsibilities

    Requirement Analysis

    1. Review and understand user stories, acceptance criteria, and associated design or technical documentation.
    2. Provide feedback on requirements, ensuring they are clear, testable, and complete.

    Test Planning

    1. Identify testing requirements for each sprint.
    2. Create test plans and test scenarios that cover functional, integration, and exploratory testing needs.

    Test Design and Execution

    1. Design, document, and execute test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
    2. Perform manual testing to validate functionality, usability, and reliability.

    Defect Identification and Reporting

    1. Log defects with clear reproduction steps and relevant information.
    2. Prioritize and track defects to ensure timely resolution.

    Regression Testing

    1. Manually test critical functionalities after changes or fixes.
    2. Work with automation testers to fill gaps in regression coverage.

    Collaboration and Communication

    1. Collaborate with Product Owner to clarify acceptance criteria and priorities.
    2. Provide real-time feedback to developers during the sprint.

    Sprint Goals

    1. Test features incrementally to provide timely feedback.
    2. Adapt to scope changes and re-prioritize testing activities as needed.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in Test Analysis or a similar quality assurance role.
    • Strong understanding of Sanity, Functional, Integration, and Regression Testing.
