    About the Job

    The Credit Business Analyst will play a key role in defining requirements and product sets for configuration and maintenance of existing modules of the Murex product suite.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Define requirements and product sets for configuration and maintenance of existing modules, including Murex Limits Controller and Basel II Credit Capital Calculator.
    2. Understand credit processes, systems, information requirements, flows, and functional system requirements.
    3. Develop business processes for Credit to identify and understand business workings, derive business requirements, and maintain system implementations.
    4. Evaluate the impact of change from proposed projects on business and IT systems supporting the business.
    5. Assess the full end-to-end Credit system and dependencies during analysis.
    6. Support Credit Business Architecture and conform to RMB Business Architecture standards.
    7. Analyze gaps between current and future states to determine extent of change required.
    8. Identify processes needing redesign due to inefficient operations and propose options for improvement.
    9. Document end-to-end Credit process flows, capturing activities performed, inputs, outputs, and resources used.
    10. Support efficiency measures and targets of end-to-end Credit processes.
    11. Translate business needs into system functionality through Murex configuration assistance.
    12. Understand existing systems and inter-dependencies (As Is analysis).
    13. Analyze business processes and system requirements, proposing re-engineering or optimization of processes.
    14. Ensure project alignment within Credit Business Architecture.
    15. Apply Business Architecture guidelines to ensure consistent business requirements/functional/process specifications.
    16. Assist Technical Designers in translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements.
    17. Oversee testing activities to ensure delivered solution meets agreed business requirements.
    18. Identify operational problems proactively and propose solutions.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    1. Relevant degree or qualification with excellent Excel skills.
    2. 2-5 years experience in major projects/areas with relevant exposure to credit business.
    3. Strong background in implementing build and buy business solutions.
    4. Ability to engage in technical discussions.
    5. Experience in investment banking sector preferred.
