Introduction:

We have a vacancy for a System Trainer to work with the Learning and Development department.

The role will be based at the Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Learning and Development.


Job description:


Job Purpose:


To deliver learning and development interventions in order to meet current and future organisational needs in line with the business unit operating plan, group learning and development framework and national skills development agenda in support of the JDA system business integration.


Job Objectives:


  • Deliver the learning and development activities for employees thereby supporting the workforce acquiring knowledge, skills, and abilities required for effective job performance.
  • Deliver JDA process learning and development initiatives in line with the approved training calendar in support of the various phases of system implementation as well as ongoing up skilling of end users
  • To support systems training of end users as well as functional leads through design and discovery sessions with End Users
  • To work closely with business users in order to support them with their questions, issues and requirements that relate to business functions supported by Blue Yonder (JDA) systems and all other related systems to ensure successful integration
  • To support the Business Systems Analyst to identify gaps and trends in current process and/or opportunities and solutions to streamline or automate processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall business performance
  • Ensure delivery of learning and development interventions in line with quality standards in order to achieve learning outcomes and business objectives related to JDA integration and updates as well as all other related systems
  • Ensure compliance to group policies, quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements
  • To implement and track learner adoption of digital training solutions where required as per departmental requirements in support of the training plan related to JDA and other systems
  • Deliver effective learner management processes, including booking according to plan, initial on boarding, recordkeeping, tracking and reporting implementation of the Quality Assurance Model
  • Deliver effective people management and development in order to build capability to meet current and future business needs and support the delivery of the brand Transformation Roadmap

Minimum requirements:


Education and Experience:


  • Relevant 3 Year Degree i.e. HR, Education, ODETDP (Essential)
  • 35 years system training experience (Essential)
  • 35 years' experience in Learning and Development as a facilitator (Essential)
  • Experienced in Project Management (Essential)
  • SETA Audits (Desirable)
  • 3 Years' experience in a Retail environment (Essential)
  • Learning Management System (Desirable) 2 Years' technology change management experience (Desirable)
