    Description

    Key Role Information

    This role is part of the Enterprise Risk and Innovation division, reporting to the Head of Risk Management.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Maintenance and execution of the Risk Management Framework across the organisation.
    2. Annual ORSA process and producing the ORSA document.
    3. Combined assurance process for operational, fraud and compliance risk identification.
    4. Setting the risk appetite statement and performing annual risk appetite modelling work.
    5. Tracking experience against key risk metrics and quarterly risk reports.
    6. Development of key risk indicators for effective monitoring.
    7. Maintenance of the risk register and incident log.
    8. Improvement of risk management reports and tools for identifying risks.

    Requirements:

    • Honours level qualification in statistics, mathematics, data science or related field.
    • Working knowledge of the insurance and/or financial services industry.

    Skill Set:

    • Optimistic outlook with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Initiative-taking, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
    • Confidentiality and adaptability.

    Technical Skills:

    • Office 365 suite with strong Excel skills.
    • Bonus: SQL, Prophet, DCS, and coding knowledge (e.g. Python).

    Desirable Skills:

    • Enterprise risk management concepts and applications to insurance.
    • Risk analysis techniques.
