Job Summary

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. As a qualified technician, you will be responsible for completing repair orders efficiently, meeting workshop labor goals, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

">

• Repair Orders: Complete repair orders promptly and within the designated time frame.
• Labor Goals: Meet workshop labor goals by working efficiently and upselling when opportunities arise.
• Customer Service: Diagnose customer issues, provide effective solutions, and communicate them clearly.
• Part Ordering: Ensure timely ordering of parts and accurate booking to Job Cards for efficient repair completion.
• Tech Updates: Stay updated on technological advancements through training, reading bulletins, and gaining the knowledge necessary to meet customer needs.
• Team Support: Assist the Service Manager and Foreman with tasks that contribute to the company's success.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with dealership processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work Environment: Maintain clean, organized workstations, tools, equipment, and vehicles, treating all with care.

Requirements

• Previous Experience: Previous experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, Land Rover Premium brands.
• Trade Test Certificate: Motor Mechanic Trade Test Certificate Red Seal with a minimum of 2 years working experience within a dealership after qualifying.
• Language Skills: Fully Bilingual (English, Afrikaans).
• Drive Results: Driven to achieve results (Productivity & Efficiency).
• PC Literacy: PC Literate.
• Valid Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and Clear Criminal record.
• Stable Work History: Stable work track record.
• Pressure Management: Ability to work well under pressure and be target drive.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of R80,000 per annum, based on experience, and a benefits package including medical aid, pension fund, and performance bonuses.
