    CREDIT DATA ANALYST

    About the role

    Client is looking for an experienced Credit Data Analyst who:

    • has strong data analytics capabilities,
    • pays attention to detail,
    • delivers work of a high quality,
    • can process, manipulate, and transform large volumes of data (1million+),
    • perform extensive analysis on data and produce summary results in a visual format to ultimately tell a story using data. The successful individual needs to be a team player who works alongside others to identify and or contribute to initiatives leading to company success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Measure and manage the performance across multiple credit products.
    • Evaluate and improve business decisions, substantiated by data driven analyses.
    • Mentoring colleagues.
    • Creating credit strategies.
    • Running and improving forecasting simulations.
    • Reporting back to management around the credit risk status of the business

    Requirements

    Ǫualification: Mathematical / statistical background e.g. B.Sc. Mathematics / Statistics / Actuarial Science / B.Engineering.

    Experience

    • 5+ years in data analysis / modelling (not only using Excel, but other tools including SǪL

    / SAS): need to be able to work with millions of rows.

    • Computer Languages: SAS (required) / SǪL (required) / Advanced Excel (required) / Excel VBA (preferencial) / Python (preferencial) / R (preferencial).

    This role will present the successful individual with both local and international exposure. International travel may be required from time to time.
