    Job Summary

    A leading Industrial Services company seeks a Contracts Manager to manage contracts and achieve business targets.

    This role involves managing multiple contracts simultaneously, each comprising of a number of jobs.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Sourcing work, contract planning, creating commercial and contractual requirements, and monitoring execution to meet revenue and budget targets.
    • Managing risks associated with each contract activity, including financial, health and safety, labour unrest, etc.
    • Implementing Occupational Health and Safety and SANS regulations with clients and ensuring adherence.
    • Maintaining excellent relationships with customers and managing their expectations.
    • Ensuring the quality of the entire environment meets company standards.
    • Establishing an end-to-end administrative process for document control.

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    • Minimum Grade 12 certificate with 8 years experience in construction sites and industrial plants or contract management capacity.
    • Or National Diploma or BTech Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in construction sites and industrial plants or contract management capacity.
    • Must be experienced and competent in running sites and contracts, including managing teams.
    • Ability to learn price to work and prepare estimates and tenders in the industry.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Familiarity with Construction Regulations, SANS, OHSAct and BCEA.
    • Knowledge of thermal insulation and industrial painting.
    • Good knowledge and understanding of technical aspects of scaffolding.
    • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
    • Strong industrial relations knowledge and tracing record is an advantage.

    Requirements

    Education: Minimum Grade 12 certificate or National Diploma/BTech Diploma in Civil Engineering.

    Experience: At least 5-8 years in construction sites and industrial plants or contract management capacity.

    Certifications: Finance for Non-Financial Managers course and valid driver's licence.
