    About The Role

    We seek a generalist to join our small development team. Our team builds web applications for both staff and clients, as well as a specialized crowdsourcing platform. We work on front-end and back-end code, processing real-time data streams from Twitter and other sources. This data must be efficiently stored for real-time querying. We annotate the data using our crowdsourcing platform and machine learning systems, providing it to clients for analysis or interaction via our social media tool.

    As a full-stack developer, you will have the opportunity to learn and use a wide range of tools and technologies. You will be working with an experienced team, ensuring that the problems you tackle meet the needs and goals of the company. Our team is agile-lite, focusing on delivering great software quickly.

    The primary applications we work on include a client-facing data analytics and reporting platform, a social media engagement platform, and a crowdsourcing platform for building data sets for clients. Our front-end applications are JavaScript apps built with React or Vue.js, utilizing D3.js for data visualization.
