Key responsibilities will include:
- Inspection of plant equipment.
- Maintenance and inspection of all rigging and lifting and equipment of the plant.
- Maintenance and repairs on conveying systems, structures, chutes 7 bins and pipes.
- Ensuring spares availability.
- Overseeing, assisting, and supporting maintenance jobs of all subordinate maintainers.
- Planning, reviewing, and executing task as per planned and breakdown maintenance tasks.
- Liaising with operational staff to plan and execute planned and breakdown maintenance tasks.
- Conducting root cause analysis on equipment.
- Assisting in the training and development of Apprentices.
- Seeking and identifying business improvement initiatives.
- Performing ad hoc duties as required.
- Performing overtime and standby duties when required.
Intrinsic Qualities: - Good verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have strong operational support.
Qualifications & Experience: - Qualified Rigger.
- Valid First Aid certificate
- Minimum of three years' rigging as a qualified experience.
- Exposure in mining maintenance environment.
- Crushing and conveying experience.
