Description

Our client, a Well-Established Food Manufacturing Company is looking to employ a Qualified Distribution Manager.

You will be responsible for:

Organising the safe and efficient receipt and dispatch of warehouse goods.
Optimally utilise and retain longterm value of fleet.
Provide a logistics service which will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of in and outbound logistics.
Inter Company transfer to the storage facilities at a market related cost while driving profitability for the logistics function.
Manage the fleet to ensure it is reliable, optimally utilised and retains long term value.

You are required to have at least 5 years' logistics experience in the roll of managing fleet of long and short distance vehicles and skilled in the following:

Diploma in Logistics Management or equivalent qualification.
Additional Supply Chain Qualifications will be advantageous.
Ability to turn an unprofitable distribution division into a profitable business.
Results driven, adding value.
Advanced computer literacy.
Knowledge of warehousing.
Budgeting and cost management.
Analytical and problemsolving skills.
People and team management skills.
Conflict management skills.
Running of efficient Meetings, Minute taking.

Salary:
R20, R35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Witbank, Mpumalanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
