Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Motorcycle Suspension Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, Repair, and Upgrade Suspension Components: Inspect, diagnose, and repair motorcycle suspension systems, including forks, shocks, and linkages.
• Routine Maintenance and Adjustments: Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and upgrades on suspension components.
• Sales and Customer Support: Work closely with the service team to assess and recommend suspension solutions to customers.
• Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts used.
• Industry Knowledge and Training: Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in motorcycle suspension.
• Customer Service and Relationship Building: Provide exceptional customer service and build long-lasting relationships with clients.

Qualifications:

• Education and Certifications: Technical school diploma, tertiary education, or equivalent; a technical certification in motorcycle mechanics or a related field (e.g., hydraulics, mechanics) is preferred.
• Work Experience: Proven experience as a suspension technician or in a similar role within the motorcycle industry is an advantage.
• Techical Skills: Strong knowledge of motorcycle suspension systems, technical terms, components, and repair techniques.
• Familiarity with Diagnostic Tools: Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Soft Skills: Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Passion for motorcycles and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.
• Licensing and Requirements: Motorcycle license or driver's license required. Non-smoker. Ability to work in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment. Must be willing to learn new skills and explore different areas of the business if required. Comfortable interacting with customers and addressing their needs. A technical grounding in mechanics or mathematics is essential.
