Requirements:


  • Trade Tested Fitter, Fitter & Turner, Millwright or Boilermaker
  • FMCG or Packaging or High Volume Manufacturing
  • Printing Machine maintenance experience
  • PLC experience
  • Microsoft Office proficient.
  • 5+ years experience in maintenance and engineering roles in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • GMR (General Machinery Regulations) experience would be advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of safe working procedures.
**Responsibilities: - Ensure that OHS Act and company safety rules are adhered to within the area of responsibility.

  • Ensure machine availability and reliability as per set standard.
  • Ensure that condition monitoring of all machines and the completion of all related documentation is done.
  • Assist and support artisans with problem solving.
  • Schedule the preplanned jobs for maintenance on machines
  • Ensure production housekeeping standards are achieved and maintained.
  • Ensure the compliance and effectiveness of the planned maintenance system.
  • Ensure the compliance and effectiveness of the lubrication program.
  • Assist the Maintenance Planner in the purchasing of all parts required for maintenance.
  • Liaise with suppliers and maintain spare inventory.
  • Capture all maintenance documentation and maintain records
