- Work with the Operations teams and Business Development to support the verification of solution design and define operational processes and procedures.
- Support in the management of Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Analysis and interpretation of data to design robust, fit for purpose operating solutions focusing on strategic sectors/services.
- Manage a team of Solutions coordinators, project controllers and administrators to high performance outcomes for the team.
- Ensure the operational work stream deliverables are managed to time, cost and quality
- Guide operations through the testing and training of new systems.
- Utilise relevant Project Management tools and practices across all projects.
- Lead project teams to ensure new operations are successfully integrated.
- Management of due diligence process for acquisitions and transfer of new operations.
- Develop and promote change management best practice to both internal and external customers.
- Relevant degree or equivalent (BTech/BEng Degree Industrial Engineering or Bcom Logistics).
- 25 years' experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Planning and Solution Design with focus on Contract Logistics/Warehousing.
- Minimum 5+ years in a management role in professional environment.
- Confident in Presentation Skills
- Internal and External.
- Flair for innovation within the Supply Chain space.
- Ability to develop individuals and establish a positive team dynamic.
- Experience in improving business processes.
- Quick thinking and ability to make decisions quickly with corrective action to ensure problems are overcome.
- Experience with creating, analyzing and maintaining budgets.
- Excellent communication, written and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical, problemsolving skills and decisionmaking skills.
- Proven project implementation experience in both operational and administrative roles.
- Demonstrate awareness of key drivers to project success and is able to identify and approach potential obstacles in sufficient time to limit or negate their impact.
- Ability to support and lead the implementation of new operations.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform to tight deadlines.
- An effective and confident communicator able to present information in a clear and persuasive manner, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to build customer and project teams.
- Good working knowledge of Information Systems.
- High degree of numeracy and analytical skills.
- Financial awareness understands dynamics of 'open/ closed book' contracts.
- Possesses a high level of drive and energy and an overriding commitment to service delivery.
- Good at planning and organizing.
