    Description

    Short Intro and About the Job

    To execute preventative and reactive maintenance on all equipment. Comply with Safety and GMP requirements

  • Adhere to quality, safety, health, housekeeping and environmental standards/criteria, policies and procedures
  • Manage, monitor and execute preventative and reactive (., breakdowns) maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of the production line.
  • Monitor and ensure that all required documentation is completed as per standard (Cost Justification, Job Cards, Planned Maintenance, stock applications, SBO's (Safety actions), TAG's, Permit to work and LOTO)
  • Adhere to budget constraints, reduce spare parts consumption and attempt to reduce costs associated with breakdowns.
  • Co-ordinate team members and plan the utilisation of maintenance staff to ensure that all shifts are optimally manned.
  • Coach and guide team members on maintenance related activities and problem solving techniques
  • Assist and support the Packaging / Processing Maintenance Team Leader with HR related activities (recruitment, learning and development, performance management,
  • Continually seek to identify opportunities for cost saving and more effective ways of carrying out maintenance related activities.

    • About You

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • N3/N4, Qualified Millwright

    • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • years' maintenance experience within a FMCG environment, Processing, Utilities and Packaging experience would be an advantage.
  • Leadership experience/People Management
  • Exposed to technical root cause analysis methodologies.
