    Description

    Junior Supply Chain Analyst Role

    We are seeking a Junior Supply Chain Analyst to drive sales, customer experience, and process improvement within retail and operations. The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics to inform business decisions and build scalable systems.

    Main Responsibilities:

    1. Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to optimize systems, procurement, allocations, and distribution, ensuring timely delivery of merchandise to stores at optimal prices.
    2. End-to-end stock management, including liaison with stores on stock levels and requirements.
    3. Day-to-day coordination of distribution center tasks to support the distribution plan.
    4. Product testing and approval.
    5. Negotiating effective business relationships with our national supplier base.

    Minimum Requirements:

    1. Relevant degree with 3 years' experience in FMCG/Retail or a similar role.
    2. Advanced Excel skills.
    3. Data analysis and reporting expertise.
    4. Familiarity with industry regulations and guidelines.
    5. Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
    6. Understanding of different business functions (supply chain, finance, HR, marketing, procurement, customer service).
    7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various business software (ERP, CRM).
    8. Strong numerical and financial planning skills.
    9. Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
    10. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
    11. Problem-solving aptitude.
    12. Able to challenge and debate important company issues.
    13. Effective delegation and conflict resolution skills.
