Overview
Murangi Cleaning and Maintenance has an immediate opening for a Tender Admin Intern.
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric);
- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration; Supply Chain, Accounting, Civil Engineering
- Solid computer literacy a must;
- Good typing and administration skills;
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- A strong sense of teamwork;
- Ability to prioritize work efficiently;
- Deadline driven;
- Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations occurring as a result of workloads and / or deadlines;
- Use initiative and follow through on tasks;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Punctual, flexible and reliable;
- Good work ethics
- Male
- Ages between Deal Breaker)
- Newly Graduate (Deal Breaker)
- Resides in Pretoria CBD (Deal Breaker)
Key responsibilities of the Business Administration Intern will include, but not limited to
- Tender Compilation and tender Submission
- Review all customer requirements to ensure that they are met in the proposal and collaborate with a wide variety of involved parties to include all necessary information within the proposals
- Effective liaison, support, and assistance between tender process
- Manage the development of plans for tender process activities to achieve targets and streamline these processes
- Plan tender reviews and deadlines according to Customer requirements
- Responsibility to maintain and update the databases regularly
- Oversee all tender pricing and negotiating
- Weekly and monthly Tender Status Reports
- Ensure that the following documents are relevant and up to date:
- Tender Submission
- Communicating with partner organisations obtaining required documentation from partners as directed by management
- Submit the tender/RFQ document at the relevant location at least 24 hours before closing date. No tender/RFQ shall be submitted on the closing date
- Review tender documents, discuss with project managers, and amend where necessary
- Prepares tenders and standardized tender templates and documentation.
- Prepares initial tender documentation and coordinate obtaining the required approvals.
- Compilation of various input to create a more complete tender proposal
- Monitoring deadlines
- Evaluation and contract negotiation
- Liaises with the Departments on an ongoing basis with respect to Tender requirements and Tender status
- Corresponds with partners in conjunction with the tender process as required, ie, nondisclosure agreements, confirmation of interest

R8 000,00 - R8 500,00 per month
