An exciting opportunity exists for a
Services Foreman at
NATIONAL BRANDS LIMITED NBL Isando Biscuits.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for all ancillary equipment such as Utilities - water; bulk fuels; air compressors; hot water systems as well as HVAC systems; effluent plant and building maintenance, general grounds maintenance, bulk handling systems and mixing equipment.

Job Specification:


Key Performance Areas:


  • Management of shutdown activities through contractors
  • Management and development of internal staff
  • Ensure reaction times are kept to a minimum
  • Uptime on utilities
  • Contractor management
  • Control capital budget expenditure
  • Provide expert advice and problemsolving techniques
  • Ensure compliance with legislation (OHS Act under Regulation GMR 2.7.)
  • Support and ensure AIB, FSSC 22000 and ISO 14001 principles are upheld
  • Participate in projects as assigned
  • Standby duties

Minimum Requirements:


Experience:


  • A minimum of 5 years' experience gained in a similar role Utilities or Services Foreman role within in an FMCG/Manufacturing environment
  • Experience as a Foreman or Supervisor required (nonnegotiable)
  • Indepth knowledge of ancillary plant equipment, including buildings, facilities and infrastructure maintenance experience and mechanical equipment

Qualifications:


  • Trade tested in Electrical or Mechanical
  • N6 or National Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification

Additional Requirements:


  • Indepth knowledge of ancillary plant equipment
  • Competency in computerized maintenance management system (Shopware, Pragma, SAP, etc.)
