Junior Logistics Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled individual from the freight/shipping industry to fill a Junior Logistics Coordinator position in the Northern Suburbs.

Key Responsibilities

Online Container Bookings
Creating and Sending Out Q67s for Confirmed Orders
Pre-Advising Containers on Navis Before Arrival at the Port
Oversight of the Loading/Shipment Process from Cold Store to Vessel
Problem-Solving in the Logistical Chain
Building Relationships with Cold Stores, Shipping Lines, Empty Depots, and Transporters
Efficient Client Booking Processing
Selecting Appropriate Services Based on Booking Credentials and Customer Requirements
Determining Protocol and Handling Requirements for Consignments
Ensuring Compliance with Regulations and Product Profiles
Preparing Export Documents within Required Timeframes
Identifying Suitable Transportation Methods
Completing Booking Processes with Relevant Role-Players
Facilitating Shipment Requirements
Maintaining Accurate Records and Data
Ensuring Organizational Policy Compliance
Managing Communication with Operational Export Authorities

Requirements

Grade 12 Certificate
Suitable Degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, or Logistics
At Least 1 Year of Experience in Logistics or Freight Forwarding
Industry Experience in Fruit/Perishables/Freight

Relationship Management

Develop and Maintain Collaborative Relationships with Clients
Promote Efficient Interfaces within Departments
Communicate with Management to Resolve Customer Queries
Regularly Review Customer Requirements

Package and Remuneration

R 14 000 - R 18 000 Monthly
