    Job Overview
    A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Technical Network Support Specialist to join ICT Engage. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of voice and data networks including routers, gateways and PBX phones.

    Key Responsibilities
    As a Technical Network Support Specialist, you will be the primary interface to all users to resolve problems reported. This involves responding to tickets on the CRM system in a timely manner, providing troubleshooting and technical support via phone, email and face-to-face to end users. You will also keep end users informed on progress with problem resolution, advise users regarding the proper use of products and address specific user issues. Additionally, you will escalate and report on the status of all problems as required by management.

    Other Technical Duties
    The role requires setting up VPNs and port forwards on routers, making changes to routers as per client requirements, doing preventative maintenance on routers, updating software and scheduling reboots. You will also log onto routers to check the current configuration thereof to ensure everything is up to standard. Furthermore, you will set up domains for websites, email, POP3 and exchange, create users on Active Directory and set up permissions, install and configure desktop computers and software. You will assist in voice-related Porta issues, set up VPNs between sites, do domain transfers, change and manage DNS records on servers, point websites on ISS servers to other websites and make general changes. Additionally, you will manage and configure PRTG, set up wireless APs for clients, set up QoS on routers, assist with internal troubleshooting and problem resolution at the office, support and maintain MS Windows and MS Exchange environments, test, install and maintain network-related problems, provide 3CX support to users and assist them with problems, and monitor the infrastructure and act on any failures.

    Requirements
    To be successful in this role, you will need experience with data networking including the implementation of VPN connections, firewall configuration and network routing. A good understanding of voice networking and VOIP environments is also essential. You must be able to work in a team, be customer service focused, work in a fast-paced environment, have good time management skills, work under stressful conditions, communicate effectively and clearly, demonstrate professional attributes, and manage conflict. Finally, you should have proper technical knowledge of analogue, digital and VoIP services, IP networking and data service provision.

    Salary Range
    We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
