Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to fill the role of Farm Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operational activities, ensuring seamless execution and optimal efficiency.
Develop and implement procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency, driving business growth.
Supervise staff and team leaders, setting work schedules and ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and logistics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Collaborate with other departments, including finance, HR, customer service, etc., to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Identify and resolve operational challenges, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.

Requirements:

Degree or diploma in business administration, logistics, operations management, or related field.
At least 35 years of experience in an operational or management role, with a proven track record of success.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and build strong working relationships.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on results-driven decision making.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), with ERP system experience an advantage.
Valid drivers license, preferably code 10 or higher.
Physically fit for farm and warehouse environments, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English, with good communication skills.

Team building and people management skills, with the ability to work in synergy with the farmer and the leadership and culture on the farm.
Analytical thinking, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
Able to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
Humble and respectful, with the ability to work in harmony with the farmer and the leadership team.
