Sales & Marketing Executive (SME)
Company Overview:
CiMSO Business Solutions is a leading software solutions developer and distributor of CiMSO Software Suite for hotels, lodges, resorts and golf clubs in Africa and Asia.
Job Summary:
Our Sales & Marketing Executive (SME) will be responsible for increasing sales to current and new customers while delivering on marketing activities and initiatives.
Responsibility:
- internet research for lead-generation
- making appointments to position and sell business solutions to potential customers
- provide sales demonstrations on-site, remotely and at expositions
- arrange, prepare for and attend national and international expositions when required
- marketing (including social media) tasks, with related administrative tasks
- create and distribute newsletters, mass-mails, web-blogs, interviews and such other marketing material as is required by marketing campaigns
- collaborate with all stakeholders and teams across sales, development, training and finance business units to remain aligned and in sync with company strategies
- monitor, update and present marketing and sales activity statistics
- prepare and present quotations and proposals using the CiMSO quote system
- back-up resource for the Sales & Marketing Manager
- increasing sales and licensing revenue
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in related fields of software and/or services sales
- Own transport required
- Excellent communication (written & spoken) skills in English and preferably Afrikaans
- Ability to build long term rapport and trust with potential clients
- Team player that have proven to operate as part of a bigger team
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related fields is advantageous
- Will be required to undergo training and certification that will be provided
Location
- Fulltime office based position in Somerset West
- Salary dependent on proven experience
- Own transport required

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (required)
