    Job Title:

    Project Engineer

    Description:

    We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in SA Projects.

    • The successful candidate will support the project manager with engineering and technical operations on projects.
    • You will be responsible for managing smaller technical projects independently, while also reporting to the Engineering Manager - Projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Estimating Phase:

    • Site familiarization and scope of work review.
    • Quantity take-offs and contract proposal review.
    • Specification and scope of work review.

    Purchasing:

    • Material and technical specifications creation.
    • Project material and equipment purchasing management.
    • Purchase document preparation and issuance.
    • Purchasing control maintenance.

    Project Management:

    • Schedule expediting and field paperwork completion assistance.
    • Project specific safety and quality program development assistance.
    • Variation order submission assistance.
    • Project meeting attendance and support.

    Engineering:

    • Electrical engineering design and review.
    • Technical specialist collaboration.
    • Design input preparation and review.
    • Engineering drawing review.
    • Equipment and material parameter preparation and review.
    • Report preparation and existing technical information study.
    • BOQ preparation for procurement.
    • Final load testing guidance.

    Project Close-Out:

    • Client close-out information provision.
    • Project closure assurance with accounting to project documentation.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
    • Strong knowledge of construction field.
    • Ability to work in office and field environments.
    • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
    • Microsoft Project experience is an advantage.
    • Independent work ability, teamwork, and diverse workforce adaptability.
    • Driver's license and passport for regional and international travel.
    • Traceable references and clear criminal record.

    Remuneration Package:

    TCTC = Market-related basic + M/Aid + Pension + Retention Allowance (available/negotiable)
