- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory/tax reporting requirements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring budget performance and making recommendations for cost optimization.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and performance evaluations, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and support operational requirements, forecasting cash flow needs and optimizing working capital.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements, coordinating with external auditors during financial audits.
- Financial Strategy: Collaborate with the Farming Business Manager to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of 3, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles advantageous.
- Audit experience beneficial.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
