Job Summary
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. A proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, along with experience working with Accpac. The role involves managing various aspects of operations, including stock management, procurement, and logistics.
Duties
Counter Operations
Key responsibilities include interacting with fitters, boiler shop personnel, customers, suppliers, and couriers. Delivery and goods received notes must be prepared accurately. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for checking in overseas shipments, creating labels for new items, documenting and allocating stock issues, performing stocktake reconciliations, and managing stock receipts.
International Logistics
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the receipt of overseas shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing. This includes creating labels for new items and maintaining accurate records.
Stock Management
A key aspect of this role is maintaining accurate stock levels through regular documentations and allocations. Stocktake reconciliations and variance checks must also be performed regularly to ensure inventory accuracy.
Procurement
The candidate will be responsible for purchasing stock and non-stock items, handling supplier invoices, and meeting supplier deadlines. Effective liaison with suppliers regarding product availability is also crucial.
Order Fulfilment
This role involves picking items for various needs, packing, and arranging courier bookings for sales orders.
Manufacturing Support
The candidate will manage allocations, timesheets, and job tracking. Additionally, they will be responsible for manufacturing items into stock and updating Bill of Materials (BOMs).
Project Planning
This aspect of the role involves planning new installations and projects, loading job estimates, and meeting end-of-month deadlines.
General Duties
The candidate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the store layout, conducting regular stock reconciliations, and managing variances.
