Sales & Reservations Manager

The primary purpose of this role is two-fold; first to increase the profitability of the reservations department by ensuring sales consultants are provided with support, advice and guidance, promoting high-quality and efficient service levels for clients and agents. Secondly, to assist in managing our in-house CRM system.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring first responses on all enquiries and distributing to consultants.
Managing quotes & emails to agents; liaising with accounts staff regarding payments/invoices.
Providing sales direction and support to a team of FIT consultants.
Advising on arranging itineraries & dealing with potential problems.
Ensuring accurate information, monitoring follow-ups, replies, etc.
Answering enquiries as needed.
Supervising and providing systems training schedules for staff as required.
Producing weekly and monthly statistics on sales and enquiries.
Providing statistical analysis and strategic value to the management team.
Database CRM management (HubSpot/Zoho/Tourplan).

Duties Include:

Responding to all new enquiries within 24 hours and distributing to consultants.
Checking that all enquiries are replied to within 24 hours, and that responses meet company standards.
Producing regular statistics for the business.
Regular reporting with feedback and analysis on trends.
Providing guidance on difficulties that consultants may face, from itinerary creation to managing difficult clients or agents.
Ensuring adherence to sales and office procedures, including timely responses and phone calls.
Sending test cases to other departments for tracking.
Managing leave times and flexi-time rosters for payroll purposes.
Maintaining team workloads and redistributing tasks as necessary.
Reviewing quotes with consultants and re-allocating as needed.
Assisting with complaint handling, investigating or responding to client/agent concerns.
Optimizing the in-house CRM system for long-term benefits.
Providing staff training as needed.
Conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Attending regular meetings with senior management to review sales stats and targets.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum.
