Introduction

  • We have a vacancy for a Customer Relations Consultant to work with the Pharmacy Debtors team within the Group Finance department. The role will be based at the Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Customer Relations Team Leader.

Job Purpose:


  • To ensure all customer calls for private accounts are attended to and resolved.
  • To execute the recovery of outstanding accounts related to Private debtors and report thereon in order to reduce loss of income on sales.

Job Objectives:


  • Ensuring a minimum private account recovery of 40%
  • Ensure all customer calls are responded to within SLA
  • All customers that have amounts owing have been contacted
  • To ensure that all data required is received on time and accurate.
  • To process billings submitted by business stakeholders.
  • To follow up on outstanding payments that is outside of normal terms.
  • To account for and reconcile all transactions and records are within the payment term period.
  • To analyze payments and queries and identify trends/patterns.
  • To assist ad hoc on projects and clean ups as and when required.
  • Deliver excellent customer service via the call centre to private debtors, clicks pharmacy and medical aid stakeholders
  • Managing customer service mailboxes and directing queries to relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Processing Customer and Medical Aid Refunds

Minimum requirements

Education and Experience:


  • Matric (Grade 12) (essential)
  • 1 2 years' experience in reconciling accounts (essential 1 2 years' experience in a debtors environment (essential) Matric level Math's and Accountancy (desirable).
  • Intro to SAP (essential).
  • MS Office (Excel) essential.
  • Junior Bookkeeping NQF3 (desirable)
  • 12 years Call Centre Customer Service (desirable)
