Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The lecturer will be required to design innovative assessments that enable students to track their development and receive clear and meaningful feedback. In addition to teaching responsibilities, project management is an essential part of the job description.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
LECTURER
- A relevant Master's degree (Engineering, Engineering Education, Informatics, Project management, Educational psychology or equivalent).
- Publications in accredited journals or conferences;
- Experience in coaching, mentoring and focus on the mental wellbeing of a diverse student body;
- Experience with online project management.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES):
- Appropriate language and communication skills;
ADDED ADVANTAGES AND PREFERENCES:
The annual remuneration package will be commensurate with the incumbent's level of appointment, as determined by UP policy guidelines. UP subscribes to the BESTMED medical aid scheme and contributes 50% of the applicable monthly premium.
