    Job Overview

    The Strategic Regulatory Affairs Manager is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry guidelines. Reporting to the Head of Public Policy and Regulatory, this senior position involves overseeing the company's understanding and adherence to evolving regulatory standards.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Monitoring and summarizing regulatory developments to inform strategic advice to senior management.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop internal policies and procedures.
    • Providing expertise on regulatory risks and opportunities to drive business growth.
    • Mentoring and developing the regulatory team to foster a culture of excellence.

    Requirements

    • 7+ years of experience in financial services, with a strong understanding of regulatory environments.
    • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree and an LLB qualification.
    • Admitted attorney with Certification as a Financial Planner (CFP) considered advantageous.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
