    Stock Controller

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to oversee the organization and management of stock within our hotel, ensuring accurate stock levels and maintaining inventory records.

    The ideal candidate will work closely with other departments to monitor stock movements, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve stock control processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Monitor and update stock levels to ensure accuracy.
    2. Conduct regular stock checks and investigate discrepancies.
    3. Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of stock.
    4. Analyze stock movements and identify trends.
    5. Develop and implement strategies to improve stock management processes.
    6. Maintain clean and organized storerooms.
    7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    8. Provide reports on stock levels, trends, and issues to management.
    9. Collaborate with other departments to optimize stock control processes.
    10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    1. Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
    2. 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in hospitality.
    3. A relevant tertiary qualification is an advantage.
    4. Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
    5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    8. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
    9. Attention to detail and accuracy.
    10. Understanding of stock control and packing.
